This a photo I'm re-posting from an art show I took part in several years back and the concept was to alter a Barbie Doll. After giving her a new shape using masking tape, I covered her entire body with Apoxie Sculpt wrapped in wire. She was pretty solid when I was done with her.
What I was trying to convey with her was that women are bombarded with so many commitments, expectations and responsibilities from so many directions that the feeling is that of confinement.
This kind of creeps me out, Carla- I love it!
