"Tilly"
I truly enjoyed the last giveaway, so I was anxious to have another! So may I present Tilly! She stands about 7"x3" and is created from wood, wire, clay, silk, and found objects. The wire work on the lower half of Tilly has been done by hand. All you need to do is leave a comment on this post and it will run from August 23 - Sept.10. The drawing will be done over the weekend and the winner will be posted Sept. 13.
I love Tilly and will definitely be keeping my fingers crossed!

I am sorry you've been struggling with your health. Trust me, I know what that's like-I have a serious life-altering illness. I've always found art to be a refuge. I hope that is so for you too. I came to mixed media via a devastating knee injury 9 years ago.
ReplyDeleteI love the seamless blending of materials and textures in your work and the clean, simple lines. There's something very architectural about it. *loves*
Tilly would love to come hang out with me in my studio! Thanks so much for such an awesome giveaway. Please throw my name into the hat.
ReplyDeleteOK Carla she is so wonderful, I need to get in on this one too. I know the health issues are a pain, but I bet those doctors will have you out running marathons soon...haha.

Tilly reminds me of a ballerina - graceful with a sad face. So true of the traditional ballet themes. She's wonderful. Hope you are feeling better - and remember to think positive thoughts and your health will improve...
