Assemblage Art Doll - Moira

Wanted to give you a look at what I have been laboring over for the past week. I had her laying out on my work area for several months and simply had no desire to permenantly connect her with bolts and adhesives.
So, she sat faithfully waiting for me! My gut instinct does not allow me to finish pieces. I didn't alter her too much. Her body had originally been covered with a silver leaf and I traded that in for the silk ruffled skirt.
The hubby came into my studio last night looking at her and asked me if those legs were from a protractor. He thought it was a perfectly good protractor and that it still had some use left in it. It had and now it has found a better use in my art work. His practical way of thinking and mine are very different.

I had to laugh about the discussion with your husband! I guess a 'good use' is entirely up to anyone's point of view. Glad to hear from you and see what you are working on. I would have loved to see her with the silver leaf...

Renate - Thanks for stopping by!! There is another piece that has that leaf! I'll post it as soon as I can get it bolted together.
