October?

"Mabel"

I can't believe the month of October is almost over!! The last thing I remember is the two shows I had last month and then it gets fuzzy. The first part of the school year is crazy busy!!! Then throw in a couple of birthdays, three holidays and one funeral(out of state), then you wake up and it is X-Mas.
I'll survive like I always do and remember how blessed I am for all the beautiful people in my life!

Anyway, lets talk about Mabel. She is made from an old vintage grater, part of a candle holder and the head is an old metal head I picked up at a doll show a couple of years ago. Sometimes it takes me a couple of years to figure out how to use a certain item I have collected for my art work.
Oh, Yeah! I took on a commission from an individual from my home state of New Mexico. I'm planning on posting WIP for this piece. So, stayed tune!

¡Hola! from New Mexico...
... the weather is trying to turn cold but we have been
blessed with some perfect fall air! The leaves of the cotton wood trees are golden, the sandhill cranes fly over my adobe home on to The Bosque del Apache and it is just about time to get the fire wood ready.
please take all the time you need for Grandma Grace.
peace.
