ROCK ART I




This collagraph print was done first in inks of red, yellow and blue. Then I got ambitious and continued printing in blue/black. Actually, the blue/black print was printed with two different collagraphs.
The beauty of collagraphs is that you don't really know what you are going to get until you actually print it and then it continues to evolve as you add colors.
It's interesting to see the two totally different moods each print reflects.
The previous mixed-media piece on fabric was the inspiration for this print.
